1. THE RULES

GENERAL RULES

1) Be respectful to all members and staff. This is a really basic rule, so please make sure you follow it.

2) This is a one account per member forum, where you don't make a separate account each time you make a character. Please roleplay all characters on one account.

3) Make sure to keep swearing to a minimum in both ooc and ic posts. It isn't likely that a Clan cat would know any 'Twoleg' swear words, so be mindful of that.

4) You can have as many characters as you would like, just make sure you can keep up with them all! As a new rule, you can only have up to two of the same rank in the same Clan; this is due to the fact that some ranks are banned because of an excess of that rank, and one member will have three of them while new members cannot make any.

5) Stay active! This is a very important rule, because without active members there will be no site. Please try to post at least two in character posts a week. If you're going away, make sure to post in the 'Going Away' board so your account doesn't get deleted.

6) There is a maximum of one high position character for each member, and you must audition to get this role. Exceptions will be discussed between staff members, but it is a very, very rare thing.

7) You character can't have crazy names like Purpledragon, Crazyghost, Bluecar etc. Warrior names are supposed to be what they look like, how they act or their skills. Also, the prefix 'Star' is not allowed, since it is sacred to the cats and only for leaders.

We only allow one prefix per clan. If there is already a Black in RiverClan please do not use that prefix for your RiverClan cat. Please check the name claim to double check that there isn't another cat with the same prefix you would like.

8) Images, whether it be in your signature or table, can't exceed a width of 520px!

9) No inappropriate photos/pictures, impersonating, fighting or spamming. Also, keep your advertising only in the plug board.

10) You must apply for high ranks. Most often, auditions are held, although sometimes there might be an extra set of rules. Make sure to follow these!

11) Mentors will be paired up with an apprentice by a staff member. However, this pairing isn't set in stone. If you'd like a different mentor, simply PM one of us. You must have the approval of an admin for before you can role-play any mentor/apprentice pairs.

Also, please do not ask for a leader as your apprentice's mentor. Unless you have been on the site for a while and the leader and apprentice have a bond that has been reached through role-playing, do not ask for them to be paired, as leaders VERY rarely take on an apprentice.

12) When making a character bio, please refrain from overly dramatic or depressing histories, as well as from super ridiculous characteristics and personalities. Cats are not prone to depression, OCD, bipolarism, etc. Try to give the key points to your character and then develop their personality through your role-playing. Simply stating your charrie is "the smartest" or the "best fighter" or "thinks more than regular apprentices" is assuming.

Also, do not include histories of "rape" or early-life pregnancies. Cats do not mate for pleasure; they mate for breeding purposes only. Yes, we give many human qualities to the cats like talking and thinking, but this does not mean that all human qualities are adopted. This is completely unrealistic and is not a good subject material for a Warriors rp, so if you include this in your bio, it will not be accepted.

IN CHARACTER RULES

1) Powerplaying, Godmodding and perfect characters are not allowed. Powerplaying is when you take control of another character as well as your own. Godmodding is when your character has the ability to do practically anything without boundries or limits. Perfect characters are self-explanatory; keep in mind that everyone has flaws! These are really important roleplaying rules, so make sure you abide by them.

2: Super detailed, gory posts are not allowed, along with anything too indepth concerning the creation or birthing of kits. You're allowed a certain amount of violence, but don't go overboard with it.

3) Liquid time is allowed and there isn't a limit on how many threads your character can take part in at the same time. Just make sure you can handle all of the threads!

4) All roleplay posts should be at least a paragraph long. Here at BP, we don't have a word count, yet we are literate. We just prefer quality over quantity! Also, please use proper punctuation, grammar and spelling while roleplaying. I know everyone will make mistakes, but posts shouldn't be packed full of errors.

5) Strange pelt or eye colours are not allowed. This is a realistic feral cat roleplay, so cats can't have blue fur and purple eyes.

6) You can not kill other characters without their permission. This is only allowed when both roleplayers agree with it.

7) Homosexual and bisexual characters are allowed! This question has been asked a lot, so hopefully this will clear it up.
