Have a high position and unsure what to do with it? Well look here! There's more to having a high rank than just the position. Clan life would be doomed without their leaders, deputies, and medicine cats. To prompt high positions to stay continuously active with their characters, keep these suggestions in mind.
are free to form hunting and border patrols. There is a thread in each clan camp board that is stickied just for this purpose. The patrol can be for the sake of teaching a pair of apprentices (to help those who need their training threads) or to have seasoned warriors scout and hunt. Leaders may also hold minor ceremonies or meetings within camp - it could be about the piece of prey found at the edge of the territory or the badger family that has moved in and needs to be taken out. The little things can help to keep roleplay interesting and engaging for all. Of course, leaders need to communicate with each other concerning clan politics. Sometimes, leaders may need to converse outside of Gatherings to establish alliances or make their suspicions known! So don't hesitate to have a thread or plot involving two leaders outside of a Gathering. [/ul] assist the leader. They also have the authority to form patrols. While deputies cannot hold ceremonies or have a clan meeting without all the authority of a leader, they do have the permission to make announcements within their Clan. Deputies, just as well as leaders, may evaluate apprentices. Deputies don't usually have the authority to deal with clan politics themselves, but can relay messages to the other clans. [/ul] are the clan's links to StarClan. While communication between StarClan and the clans may be blurred, it is okay with admin permission for them to have dreams. Medicine cats study herbs and look out for their clan's wellbeing. A medicine cat may have a health check of their clanmates just to make sure no one has any hidden injuries. They keep an eye on elders and queens. Medicine cats also do not just memorize herbs, they battle train with the warriors from time to time and also teach their apprentices how to defend themsleves. Also remember that medicine cats are allowed to cross borders if need be! But they should be wary, as not all cats are fond about this. [/ul] [/blockquote][/blockquote]
